2023 Begins To Take Form

Its going to be a blinder...

And so we've begun the process of revealing whats happening at our third festival. For 2023 we are going to knock it out of the park kicking off with a free screening of Michael Mann's classic 80s horror tale The Keep on Thursday 23rd of February. And if that were not enough, we'll follow this up at around 9pm with our fest ever Horror Festival Launch Party. We are turning level 1 of the Mercury Shopping Centre into a horror inspired party venue, with live music some free Prosecco and a (paid) bar. Its a great opportunity to network with people you'll be spending the next four days with.

If thats not enough we have some very special guests coming who we'll be revealing in separate posts. Of course theres going to be some solid Merch to buy, both through Natalie's design (of course a new T-Shirt) but through vendors selling art, books and films. We'll have special FX demonstrations, some pretty fun interviews and of course lots of lovely films.

This years movie line-up is a mix of festival favourites and UK and World Premieres. We've got some stunning films showing at Romford Horror before anywhere else including films acquired from Variety, Warner and Canal+. We've already revealed 13 movies, but there are another 70 features and shorts still to reveal some of which are truly mind-blowing.

Our 23 festival  we are going to have the return of "The Deadly Choice", the choice thats down to you, with each night a decision to be made by attendees over which film to see.

And finally, lets not forget the return of the bar, with brand new movie inspired cocktails to give you something to think about. If cocktails are not your thing, we'll have a fine selection of wines, spirits and of course beers from The Brentwood Brewery.

Keep your eyes pealed for further updates. We've got it all going on.
