Four More Classics For 2024

Spencer Hawken • July 10, 2023

Continuing our line-up for our classic screenings we are proud to bring you another four amazing movies for our 2024 line-up.  We celebrate horror in all its forms, we could not be prouder to bring these movies back to the big screen once more.

First up, the amazing Turbo Kid, this incredible film from only a few years back is essentially Mad Max on BMX's, its an incredible film, with some of the most fun death scenes you'll ever find in a movie.

Barbara Hershey takes the lead in the magnificent The Entity, a film that caused big stirs in the early 1980's but definitely seems to have fallen into the category of movies we have forgot.  In the film, Carla Moran is repeatedly raped by an invisible entity, based on a alleged true story known as The Doris Blither Case.

Sticking in the early 80s director Andrzej Zulawski delivered a real left of field shocker back in 1981 that's bound to appeal to the audiences of Extraneous Matter. This seemingly straightforward tale of domestic life turns incredibly weirds, incredibly quick. The film stars Isabelle Adjani and Sam Neill, both turning out emotional and emotionless performances as the troubled couple.

Our final classic offer takes a nod and a wink from The Omen and stars Richard Burton as the creepy John Morlar, a man who can cause disaster just by thinking about it. Can Detective Brunel (Lino Ventura) and Dr Zonfield (Lee Remick) stop him before he unleashes the biggest disaster humanity has ever faced? it is of course The Medusa Touch.
