Romford Horror Festival 2024?

over 180 feature films and short movies

2024 Is our most ambitious year, at least two screens at all times showing over 180 feature films and short movies from across the world. In addition to brand new indie horror we are screening 8 classic movies from over 50 years of horror cinema.

We have 38 world premieres and 18 UK premieres and even a very special preview screening of a movie to be released late in 2024.

Our movies star some of the biggest names on the horror circuit including Kane Hodder and Tony Todd and rising stars like Ayvianna Snow, Johnny Vivash and Amber Doig-Thorne all featuring in new films either fresh onto the circuit, or still enjoying their world tour.

Our classic cinema offering includes The Medusa Touch, The Beyond and Who Saw Her Die? As we celebrate the some of the best all time horror and giallo films.

In our new indie sessions we have themes screenings devoted to low budget, super short horror, and student offerings.

But that is not all....

Amazing Guests

On Saturday 2nd of March we have some wonderful guests who've starred in some of the most notorious horror movies ever made.

They'll be taking part in interviews and signing autographs.

The most anticipated event of this years festival, you have no idea what you'll be watching. A mix of brand new shorts, trailers and previews of films filmmakers are currently working on.

It's like an open mic night for film.

To help smooth the mood, this is also an opportunity to network and enjoy a cocktail or two at the projectionist bar.

Vendors

While some will be there all the time on Saturday and Sunday there will be lots of vendors selling horror merchandise, from books, Blu-Rays, Candles, Art through to posters.

Its a one stop shop for all your horror needs, you can even get a Freddy Kruger necklace.

Network with

a cocktail

From 11am to 11pm every day of the festival is the perfect time to pick up a film-themed cocktail and get to work on film related chat at The Projectionist Bar!

In good Romford Film Festival tradition, the welcome team is a fully fledged bunch of visual artists and creatives who bring the idea of bar work to a whole new level.

The bar includes five cocktails themed on some of the independent films that you will see; home designed MERCH including T's badges, coasters - the lot! Its also the place to ask questions about tickets and schedules.

The bar in this case, literally does have all of the answers.
